This may seem like a weird concept. But many psychologists, mystics, scholars and teachers believe that creativity is a direct link to "THE SOURCE". The creator. The never-ending creative spirit that only wants happiness and joy for us. The energy field that is constantly creating and allowing us to feel whole and complete when we too are a part of this process. Whether by planting a garden, creating a new fashion look, drawing , writing and so on ! I hope to share with others my ideas, creativity and spiritual energies . I believe when we share our creativity with each other, we are in a state of perfection. Zen. Harmony. We are feeling our true calling. Not what our Parents told us to feel or be, nor our spouses, nor society. But what our souls truly desire.
I am looking forward to sharing my creativity with others. We are ALL geniuses. We are all beautiful and whole, just as we are. By following our hearts, we are following what the Source intended for us, which is to simply feel good. Feel God! Here's to feeling our true inner goddesses singing! Dancing! Living and Loving life-as intended!
" When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, " I used everything you gave me. " Erma Bombeck

Sunday May 30th / Creativity in Photographs

Happy Sunday! I just watched SNL and Ke$ha was singing a song about love and Christ. I don't really know who she is, but it was cool to see someone singing about their spirituality. My creativity came out this week in photos and here are a few I'd like to share!

Creativity is allowing oneself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.

A True Beauty !!! Sunday, May 16, 2010

( photos courtesy of BackAlleyFashion.blogspot )

What is beauty ? Really ? Some see beauty in long-legged blonde women. Some in dark haired women or men. Society's view of beauty has a lot to do with symmetry in the face and youthful features that go back to cave-men days where finding a mate to procreate was of urgency. Also wide hips were considered beautiful. Science says it all boils down to pherimones (mis-spelled) that "attract" someone to a certain "type" of mate. Simple chemistry. Some see beauty in art and music. Some in Nature. I believe beauty is as individual as are snowflakes. I see beauty in the confident smile of a woman or man who loves themselves and other's just the way they are. I see beauty in the birth of a kitten, or the autumn leaves which fall and lay nourishment for the tree in spring. I see beauty in the face of a homeless man who humbly asks for change. In the deep set wrinkles of my Father's face. In the hands of my loving husband and the tired eyes of my Mom.

Where do you see beauty???

Benefits of meditation

Instant Deep Meditation

Were you aware that people who meditate for a short time each day are much happier than everyone else?

Meditators are much healthier with greatlyextended life spans, too. As a matter of fact, there have been numerous studies showing that meditationdramatically reduces, and even reverses disease of all types (especially cancer).

Did you know that experienced meditators have awakened many dormant abilities that they never knew they had, abilities that exist within every person? And they have gotten much closer toanswering life's mysterious questions?

They are much smarter, too. In fact, meditators brains have been proven to function at a superior level on every single test, measurement, and assessment that the scientific community has generated. It is easy to see why many of history's greatest inventors, philosophers, and scientistsreceived their revolutionary, future-transforming ideas during their daily meditation sessions.

Were you aware that meditators produce immensely more euphoric brain chemicals, the same chemicals that flow through your system on the days when you have never felt better, and these euphoric brain chemicals are produced constantly?

Did you know that they also sleep much better? As a matter of fact, they need fewer hours of sleep every night because their minds and bodies are completely refreshed and rejuvenated during theirhighly pleasurable meditation sessions. Meditation is many times more powerful than sleep.

Also, meditators have far superior mental and emotional health. Meditation melts all the subconscious layers of anger, depression, anxiety, fear, phobias, and sadness built up over years and years leaving you in perfect mental and emotional balance. It is easy to see why they have more friends, healthier relationships, and feel a great deal more satisfied and content with their lives.

With all these dramatic life improvements meditation brings, why isn't everyone doing it?

Technically it's till Sunday (somewhere!). This Sunday my creative spirit was not very "sparky". I miss my Mom as she lives so far away. My brother's visited her, but I ended up visiting the grocery store instead. I keep the hope that My intentions will be fulfilled  if I keep connecting to my Source. As a human who has been driven by ego all my life, it is difficult to stay in the zone of connection. I try to remember you are what you THINK. I am healthy, and I have everything I need today. And all there really is is today. The past is a "demon" that can hold me back, If I let it, and the future is nothing more than ideas within my head. The future doesn't really even exist! Meditation and getting quiet. Turning off the endless chatter within will help me to stay in the NOW. In reality. In positive thoughts, which turn into positive living conditions. I will meditate faithfully this week and see what cleansing the channels to the powers that be will hold in store for me! Have a blessed week full of creativity!

Sunday, May 9 / Mother's Day

The mind is everything.
What you think, you become.

Happy Sunday, and Happy Mother's day!!!

The Beauty of a Woman

The Beauty Of A Woman

The beauty of a woman
isn't in the clothes she wears,
The figure that she carries,
or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman
must be seen from in her eyes;
Because that's the doorway to her heart,
the place where love resides.

The beauty of a woman
isn't in a facial mole;
But true beauty in a woman,
is reflected by her soul.

It's the caring that she cares to give,
the passion that she shows;
And the beauty of a woman
with passing years only grows.

SUNDAY MAY 2, 2010

It's Sunday, well actually Saturday night to most. I have been listening to Dr. Wayne Dyer's "Power of Intention" nightly for some time now, and as my life is going through a kind of re-growth period, I feel like a sponge of information has been offered to me. I am trying to stay humble as I type this, and remove my ego. I am learning that the ego is what causes all of my "troubles". You know that inner voice that tells you who to be, how to act, how to look and what I Should be doing at this point in the time-line of life. Who says I Should be a house-cleaning nut? A cook? An "age-appropriate" dresser? My ego says. Or should I say the voice inside of me that was created by others. Other's experiences. Other's dreams. Other's approval. Other's ideas of beauty and what time means to THEM. My ego is simply a shell, or wall, created by others to hold me in a nice appropriate package. I feel the need to be set free. Free to create, as the universe intended me to do. For what is God? Creative Energy. Pure, simple love of life. The source. The source of creating, constantly. I am beginning to believe that this energy is real. It has always been available to us all along. I need to stop and re-connect to this spirit of creativity.
